Is there a minimum age requirement?

Bingemans Camping Resort is a family camping resort destination. You must be 25 years of age or older to camp at Bingemans. Families with children under 18 are permitted.

What is the reservation policy? Cancellation policy?

Payment is required in full upon booking. All reservations are subject to a $10 non-refundable reservation fee, plus applicable taxes. This is processed at time of booking. A $150 security deposit is due upon arrival for all Log cabins and container cabin rentals.

You are able to cancel your reservation up to 14 days prior to your arrival to receive a full refund. The $10.00 plus HST reservation fee is non-refundable.

For cancellations received 13-7 days prior to your stay a $25.00 cancellation fee and the $10.00 reservation fee will be applied, per site. The balance will be refunded in the same way in which the payment was made.

No refunds are offered if your site is cancelled after 7 days before your stay.

Bingemans does not have a cancellation policy for inclement weather, and refunds are not applicable.

How do I purchase Waterpark Passes?

Waterpark and Camping booking will be available to book at a later date. Bingemans Waterpark does not have a rainy day policy. Customer must use their own discretion when purchasing passes on days with poor weather conditions. There are no refunds for any reason and passes are not transferable. The Waterpark is closed for the Season as of September 5, 2022

How many people are allowed on a campsite?

You are allowed to have 6 people per site, counting adults and children with a maximum of 4 adults. If you have more than 4 adults in your group, you will be required to rent an additional site. Log Cabins: 4 People. Container Cabins: 5 People. Luxury Container: 2 people.

How many tents/trailers am I allowed to have on a campsite?

You are allowed to have two sleeping tents OR one trailer per site. You can also have one dining tent on your campsite. Sleeping tents are not permitted on Log cabin and Container Cabin sites. One dining tent is permitted.

How many vehicles are allowed per site?

You are allowed one vehicle per site. If you have an additional vehicle, it requires a parking permit ($7.50 + HST for your stay) and it must be parked in one of our parking lots.

What is check-in and check-out times?

All Camp sites have a 2pm Check In time and 11am Check Out time. No late checkouts or early check ins offered during peak camping season. June 27 – September 4.

How do I check-in to my site if I arrive during the "after hours"?

Off Season the Camping office is open until 5pm. Please contact the office before this time to arrange for a late check in. 519-744-1002.

Peak Camping Season (June 27-September 4) If you are planning to arrive after 8pm Sunday-Thursday, or after 9pm Friday and Saturday, we ask that you call the Camping Resort Office in advance to notify the staff of your late arrival. 519-744-1002.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are allowed on our campsites provided they are on leash at all times and cleaned up after. If barking is a problem, you may be asked to remove the pet or leave with no refund. New for 2022. We have 2 Pet friendly Log cabins (2000 & 2001) and 3 Pet friendly container cabins (containers 1-2-3) Pets are permitted inside these cabins ONLY. Must be on a leash and cleaned up after.

Do you have a store?

Yes, ice, firewood snacks and other camping items you may need are available for purchase at "Camper's Corner Store" in the registration office - the first stop when you arrive at the campground.

What activities are included when I am camping?

When you camp with us, you get complimentary access to our Oasis Pool (please check for hours of operation). We provide discounted admission to our Campers for Mini Golf, Bowling at Kingpin bowlounge, GameworX Arcade at FunworX as well as our Drive In. These must be purchased at our Camping office to receive the discount. Please check our events page for more events and activities.

What services do campsites offer?

At Bingemans we have a variety of campsites geared for all campers!

Glen No Hook-up Sites
Located along or within close proximity to the Grand River, our no hook-up sites are ideal for those looking for a traditional camping experience tenting.

Glen Electric & Water
Sites offer 15 and 30 amp electrical service, as well as a water hook-up. These sites are approx. 30’ wide x 40’ deep in size and are partially treed. Ideal for tents, pop-up trailers and small travel trailers.

Chalet Electric & Water
Sites offer 15 and 30 amp electrical service, as well as a water hook-up. These sites are approx. 38’ wide x 35’ deep in size and are partially treed. Ideal for tents, trailers or RV's up to 32' in length.

Chalet Pull-Through
Sites offer 15, 30 and 50 amp service as well as a water and sewer hook-up. These sites are 35’ wide x 70’ deep in size and are partially treed. Ideal for large RV's and trailers.

All sites come with a fire pit and picnic table. The campground also offers an on-site dumping station.

What is in the cabins and what do I need to bring for my stay?

Our Log Cabins are a 12' x 12' room. Inside we provide a double bed and single bunk beds to sleep four people comfortably. Cabins also come equipped with electrical outlets, an overhead light and mini fridge. There are no bathroom or kitchen facilities inside; cabins are meant to portray a rustic camping ambiance. Each cabin has a covered porch with a picnic table and fire pit.

Each Container Cabin is 16’ x 8’ and sleep five people comfortably with one single over double bunk bed and one single over single bunk bed and feature electrical outlets, mini fridge, inside table & 2 chairs and best of all air conditioning. Fire pit and picnic table outside.

When staying in our cabins, you will need to bring bedding supplies (sheets, sleeping bags, pillows) as well as your own cookware (utensils, plates, cups). It is also recommended that if you are planning on cooking, to bring an outside cooking stove.

Each Log Cabin and Container Cabin require a $150.00 security deposit at time of check in. After you check out and the cabin has been checked your security deposit will be returned to you if no damages or extra cleaning is required.

Dogs are not permitted inside or on the sites of Log or Container cabins, security deposit will not be returned in the event a dog has been present.

New for 2022! We have 2 Pet friendly Log cabins (2000 & 2001) and 3 Container cabins that are Pet friendly. (Container 1-2-3)

Is there Security in the Campground?

Security is not stationed in the campground; however, we do have an after hours Help Phone, the number is provided in your welcome package at check in.

Can I bring firewood?

No, outside firewood is not permitted at Bingemans Camping Resort. Transportation of firewood is a common way for invasive species to spread. Specifically, the Asian Long Horned Beetle and the Emerald Ash Borer are both destructive beetles which we do not want at our camping resort. Firewood is available for purchase on site.

What are quiet times?

Our quiet hours are between 11pm and 8am. All radios must be turned off by 11pm, please be considerate of your neighbors at all times. If you have visitors, they must depart by 11pm.

Please note that our grounds crew does mow the lawn starting at 8:30am on various days of the week.

Do you have laundry facilities on site?

Yes, we do. You will find our coin-operated laundry facility located on the Park Map.

Please ask for the code to get into at the camping office.

Does Bingemans have propane on site?

We do one better. BBQ Tank Express provides delivery of 20lbs, 30lbs and 40lbs propane tanks right to your campsite. Same day delivery Monday to Saturday until 4pm. Pamphlets are available at the office, you can visit bbqtankexpress.ca or call 1 844 Full Tank (385-5826) for more information.

Can I claim my stay at Bingemans Camping Resort with the 2022 Ontario Staycation Credit?

YES, YOU CAN! To promote travel within Ontario in 2022, the government of Ontario has implemented a tax credit for accommodations within Ontario. For the 2022 tax year, Ontario is providing a personal income tax credit for 20% of eligible 2022 accommodation expenses of up to $1,000 for an individual and $2,000 for a family, to receive a maximum credit of $200 or $400, respectively. All accommodations at the Bingemans Camping Resort of less than one month for non-business use are eligible given the criteria below.

  • For a stay of less than a month at an eligible accommodation such as a hotel, motel, resort, lodge, bed-and-breakfast establishment, cottage or campground in Ontario;
  • For a stay between January 1 and December 31 of 2022;
  • Incurred for leisure (e.g., a non-business purpose);
  • Paid by the Ontario tax filer, their spouse or common-law partner, or their eligible child, as set out on a detailed receipt;
  • Not reimbursed to the tax filer, their spouse or common-law partner, or their eligible child, by any person, including by a friend or an employer; and
  • Subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST)/Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), as set out on a detailed receipt.
